She remained friends with Tina after Tina left Ike and joined Tina's band as backup singer and dancer/dance captain when Tina went solo. Her longtime experience as a Turner backup singer and dancer also earned her a position as instructor to the dancers and choreographer on the biopic "What's Love Got To Do With It".
