He played there for the first time as resident between January 1960 and June 1961 and in the biography that journalist Miquel Jurado wrote (Tete Montoliu: almost an autobiography), the pianist considers the club as one of the best places he ever played and calls it home. So even if that's not in my memoir, it was in his. So it would be one of the best things to remember about Whisky Jazz Club.
