7th grader boys posses child-like manners more than teenager boys do. They have more immature thinking of girls, in a different manner a teenager boy would. Probably just for an admiration. A girl's personality for them doesn't matter at all. And they can be curious as well.

For teenager boys it would be like 65% looks and 35% personality, but at the age of a 7th grader, it'd probably be like 95% looks 5% personality.

I myself am a 7th grade guy and I have a gf, She is really cute. Just be yourself, have confidence, (try to laugh at our jokes), and everything will fall into place. OH! and don't forget to flirt.

Now, this is coming from the standpoint of a female, so this answer may relate different ideas in comparison to those above. Anyway, as far as I can tell, it depends on the boy. Some are, quite clearly, only in it for the looks. I've seen boys who just go out with a girl because she is "hawt" (that seems to be the term used these days instead of "hot"). On the contrary, it seems other boys judge on personality. The boy I call my boyfriend likes me because I make him laugh and because we get along, not because of my looks (trust me, if he were judging on looks he wouldn't choose me). In short, it depends on the boy. Having good looks don't hurt, but it should probably be the personality that counts the most for him.

I like this boy named Jonathan Grantham and I don't know if he likes me so I have known him for 4 years and he acts as if I don't exist half the time! So true... but i am a 7th-grade girl and I know that most girls like funny boys, and I really like guys who are nice to me and most other people. But that's just me. Some girls actually like mean guys. I don't really understand that.
