I suggest you crawl under the rear and take a look at those shocks. Something is loose.
Maybe coinsidence but tap your cadalytic coverter with a mallet. If it shakes like Golf balls in a can, the honeycomb sysem inside is breaking up. If so, you can break it up & blow it out, straight pipe it, or replace it.
Weak battery or alternator output.

The popping noise can be caused by a bad year in the rear end. The popping noise can also because by a bad you joint.
Had a similar problem with 94 gcl. Turned out to be the viscus coupler. Once replaced problem was gone. Very expensive.
Is the TCM working normally and throwing no codes?

The bearing in the water pump has failed and the water pump will need replaced.
