Yes he did, he was in his early twenties when he learned, but he was apparently quite rubbish, he would hit cars when trying to park, he hit a car waiting at a red light the driver got out shouting, Michael was scared and drove off and Speed Demon was written after he got a ticket, so he just gave up and let other people drive him.

Yes. His parents Katherine and Joseph forced him to get one when he was about 23 years old. Don't know if he ever renewed it or not, although supposedly he "met" the first child who accused him of molestation (Jorden Chandler) in 1993 when he (Michael) was broken down on the side of the road in L.A. and Jordie's father (who owned a car rental company) sent an employee out to rescue him.

He also had a Mercedes Benz 500sel, which was given to him as a gift, he was seen driving it around 1988, and this car is now getting auctioned off.

Yes, Michael got his driver's license in his 20's around the thriller era. He didn't want to get it but I believe his mother Presuaded him to obtain it. He was always nervous about driving so he didn't drive that often, and also he could always afford to have someone else to drive him around
