I'm not sure who you mean by "the Rod Stewart Band". Rod Stewart has been a singer for more than 40 years now. Rod was the singer with the Jeff Beck Band and the Faces in England in the '60s. Both bands existed before he joined them, so they would have had other singers. Rod started singing solo in 1969, and anything calling itself the "Rod Stewart Band" would probably have been just his back-up band, so he would have been the singer. ALSO possible that you are referring to the members of Rod's band who have reformed as Apart From Rod with singer Rob Hart (ex-Bad Company) on vocals, replaced briefly by Jim Stapely and more recently by Ben Mills. The band now goes under the name of Cregan & Co. as it is fronted by ex-Rod guitarist and co-writer Jim Cregan. The band has included other ex-Rod Guitarists Robin LeMesurier and Gary Grainger.
