The latest trends for weddings as of 2015 are boho and vintage styles. The Great Gatsby movie from last year seems to have inspired many couples to go back to art deco styles and incorporate this into their entertainment as well. 1920s Charleston bands, flapper dancers, etc.
There will always be a place for cover bands performing music from the 50s to present day, but as for trends, it is definitely moving towarrds jazz bands, rat pack singers and wartime singers etc.
