== == We found it located in behind the right side of dash board, in behind the glove box. For our 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
Behind the glove box. About 10 x10 in size.
AnswerIt would fit your left hand.
It's on the bottom of the transfer case. It's a large white/yellowed sensor with a 2 wire connector.
To lower the glove box. There are two black plastic stop tabs sticking up past the back wall of the glove box, these stop tabs hit against rubber stops and keep the glove box from falling open. Fold these rubber pieces to the side to let the black stop tabs go by. (They are attached to the dash only on one side so as to act as a hinge point) The rubber stop on the left, is about an inch to the left of the glove box light switch. The right rubber stop is about eight inches to the right of the light switch. Remove the dampener arm on the right side of the glove box by sliding the end, up and out of a key slot type of hole. The glove box should be hanging down at this point.
I have a 1987 Lebaron and the fuses are inside the glove box on the right side.
The fuse panel is located inside the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. Inside the dash you'll see a black flap which you'll have to pull (it will fold down) to view the fuses inside. On the flap itself there might be extra fuses and a tweezer device for removing installed fuses. Or,,,, try inside the glove box, small area to the left inside the glove box, there are others under the hood also on the passenger side near the front of the car under a small cover.
& its not behind glove box as shown on youtube
To open the glove box in a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, locate the glove box door on the passenger side of the dashboard. Press the button or latch on the right side of the glove box to release it. Once the latch is disengaged, pull the glove box door down to access the contents inside. If the glove box is stuck, ensure there are no obstructions inside that may be preventing it from opening.
They are located inside the glove box on the left side, under a cover.
Check glove box there are fuses there
The interior light fuse is located under the cup holder assembly inside of the glove box.
If you need the location of the fuses, my '99 scudo fuses are behind the glove box. You need to press a spring clip at either side of the open glove box and remove it completely.
In the glove box
There is a fuse panel inside the glove compartment which may contain the horn fuse along with most of the other fuses.
There are some relays located in the back of the glove compartment.
If this clicking only happens when your turn indicator or hazard lights is on it's the flasher unit working. If not it's the stuff in the glove box rolling around probably.
