DJ techniques include:

Scratching - performed by moving the disc back and forward as it is playing Beat Matching - changing the speed at which a recording is played so it matches that of the song currently playing Mixing- where 2 recordings are mixed together, often producing seamless transitions Cueing - finding a suitable place to mix a new track in
