The Baroque era in music is generally regarded to have covered the period from 1600 - 1760. There are a great number of composers who were writing music during this period (probably hundreds) so to list them all would not be possible. Some of the major ones are:

Bach's life span is from 1685-1750. He belongs to the Baroque era. In his later years, he try to specialize in his Baroque forms where other composers (including his sons) deviated from the Baroque culture to classical galant style.
