Not really into straightforward Prog Metal so much, as I find bands like Dream Theater, Royal Hunt, etc. utterly boring. However, some of my favourites which tend to be Progressive hybrids include..
Screaming has nothing to do with clean and unclean vocals. Clean vocals are that of which can be played on the radio and are not explicit. Unclean vocals usually have something that not everyone would find appropriate such as sex, drugs, alcohol, partying, etc. Most albums that have unclean vocals will usually have a Parental Advisory notice on the cover of the album. Also, most unclean albums will come out with a clean version at a later date.
Just a few examplesUnholy (Finland) - Growling male vocals with limited use of female vocals in the The Second Ring of Power, Rapture, and Gracefallen albumsNightwish (Finland) - Mostly clean female vocals, with a fair amount of clean male vocals usedAshes You Leave (Croatia) - Primarily clean female vocals with intermittent male growling vocalsHammers of Misfortune (United States of America) - Clean male vocals, clean female vocals, often sung in conjunction with each other. Some songs from the debut album, The Bastard, have the female vocals backed by growling male vocals sung in conjunction.Theatre of Tragedy (Norway) - Female lead singer with clean vocals backed by a male singer in the Theatre of Tragedy and Velvet Darkness They Fear albums. After these two, they strayed away from Metal. This is the band which started the often-imitated "Beauty and the Beast" male/female vocals.Girlschool (United Kingdom) have several songs they did collaboratively with Motorhead, featuring the vocalists of both bands singing.Funeral (Norway), but only on the Tragedies album. Tristesse featured all male vocals, and In Fields of Pestilent Grief was solely female vocals.Cradle of Filth (United Kingdom) is a male-fronted band, but often features guest female vocalists.Shroud of Bereavement (United States of America) - Growling male vocals, clean female vocalsThe Sins of Thy Beloved (Norway) - Started off essentially as a Theatre of Tragedy knockoff. Growling male vocals, clean female vocalsTristania (Norway) - Mostly growling male vocals and clean female vocals. Some clean male vocals used in some songs. Also uses a choir composed of both male and female vocalistsSirenia (Norway) - Started by the founder of Tristania. Same description. After Forever (Netherlands) - Mostly growling male vocals mixed with clean female vocals.Epica (Netherlands) - Same formula as After Forever, founded by the person who founded After ForeverWithin Temptation (Netherlands) - Their debut album, Enter, featured growling male vocals and clean female vocals, in a simlar vein to earlier Theatre of Tragedy and The Sins of Thy Beloved. Later albums went almost exclusively to female vocals.Disrupt (United States of America) - Maybe a bit questionable of an entry for a question about Metal bands. Disrupt is a Crust Punk band (sharing a common heritage and many similarities to Grindcore). Vocals are primarily shouting male vocals, but several songs feature a female singer who practically screams her lungs out, as well.

I/he/she/it was cleaning. You/we/they were cleaning.
The past perfect progressive tense of "clean" is "had been cleaning."
Aaron Gillespie is in 2 bands. Underoath, which is a metalcore band where he plays drums and sings clean vocals. He also has a side project called The Almost, which is an alternative rock band where he is the lead singer. Although he is a artist so he may have many small side projects and single work but the only bands he has recorded albums with is Underoath and The Almost
I/We/You/They have been cleaningHe/She/It has been cleaning

Yes, had been cleaning is the past perfect progressive tense of clean.
Popcore is simply a combination of the two genres known as pop-punk and hardcore. The music is usually and upbeat at the same time. The singing is usually three-fourths clean vocals and the rest is screaming. And usually the lead singer does the clean and "dirty" vocals but having an extra vocalist is optional. And some but not all popcore bands have a keyboardist but once again its optional. Hope that answers your question. (P.S. A Day to Remember is a great example of a popcore band, look them up)
Yes, Underoath's now ex-drummer and clean vocalist Aaron Gillespie is in the band The Almost and sings lead vocals and plays guitar. Also, their current drummer (replacing Aaron Gillespie on drums), Daniel Davison, used to play for the christian metalcore band, Norma Jean. Lead guitarist Timothy McTague took over some of the clean vocals, although lead vocalist Spencer Chamberlain does a lot of the clean vocals on the new 2010 album, Disambiguation, where in the past he did almost exclusively dirty vocals.
had been cleaningExample: When I asked my little boy why he was in the bathroom for so long, he said he had been cleaning the windows!
Se7en - Screamo Screams, Raps Mikl Shea - Autotune Vocals, Clean Vocals Phat J - Keyboards, Death Metal Growls Antz - Fog Machine, Lights Bree - Mascot
