He was on every tour with the Jackson 5 from 1972, but didn't officially join the band until 1975. He was therefore 11 when he started touring with them, and fourteen when he officially joined the band.

By the way, it isn't the same Randy Jackson that is an American Idol judge. It's a completely different person. :)
