The obvious answer would be that there would be a leak somewhere...
Leak detection pump.
Because the leak is high up in the tank.
Your heater core has a leak in it requiring replacement of the heater core. It will continuously leak as it is part of the cooling system for the engine, and is under pressure. Above is true if it is antifreeze and not water. Don't rule out a plugged drain hole in the wiper transmission area or water leak from the body.
I'm having the exact same problem with my 99 cherokee. Have yet to figure it out yet, but my dad is good with cars and figures it is either a roof leak traveling down the trim and filling the well. Or some other sort of leak that isn't draining out. Hope that helps!

Coolant leak.
YesYes
Leak detection pump.
because your heater core has a leak or the hose is broken
It might be an exhaust leak
Bad thermostat, water pump not circulating, low coolant level, head gasket leak.
probably a fuel leak somewhere .
Yes.
Sounds like you may have to replace your heater core, they are located under the dash. If yours has a small leak (starting to go bad) you will have to replace it or you will end up with a major leak and no ac/heat and will fry your engine. Check with your mechanic on this one. Maybe.... but if it is just condensation you can locate the drain tube on ther passenger side firewall and stick a piece of wire up it until the water runs out. Most of the time dust and leaves will block the drain and cause the water to leak out onto the floor.
Because the leak is high up in the tank.
possible faulty leak detection pump
