I think the answer you're looking for is the whole note. The whole note (generally speaking although there are some exceptions) is worth 4 beats. The order of notes is:

Half note- 2 beats

Quarter note - 1 beat

Eighth note - 1/2 a beat

Sixteenth note - 1/4 of a beat
