The plot of the singing lesson:

Miss Meadows is troubled by a letter she receives from her fiance-Basil- it effect her mood, and behavior therefore effects the way she treats and deals with others. She remains in this sad and desperate condition until she receives a telegram from Basil in which he apologizes for his harsh letter. Miss Meadows is then happy and joyful.

-I hope this is good,as this is the first time for me to write a plot of a story.-

How do you make a short story have a lesson?

To make a short story have a lesson, you should first identify the theme or moral you want to convey. Develop relatable characters who face challenges that reflect the lesson you want to teach. Use plot events and character interactions to illustrate the consequences of actions related to the lesson. Finally, ensure the resolution of the story reinforces the lesson learned by the characters and, implicitly, the reader.
