"Jive" is the slang term for Heroin, still is these days, "seeing your man" means to meet your dealer, and still does today. Put it in your pocket and lock it- when you "cop", buy drugs , you do not look at it or fool with it till you get to where you can safely do so. you do not want to bring attention to yourself.
