i met tom delonge when he was on tour, i met up with him in Philadelphia PA may 7th of 2010. i asked him due to his song "not now" he said "God has the master plan an i guess, i am in his demand" and as well stay together for the kids where he sings "earth is dying help me Jesus" so i asked him what his religious views was an he stated to me he was a christian.. but the beliefs are a bit different, an that's where i feel his beliefs are comming from the freemasons views due to the freemason symbols on the band album
