If you don't you are not trying to play hard enough. This is completely normal.
Yes ... totally normal. You're rubbing your fingers against coils of metal. I once had a particularly nasty blister pop before a gig and ended up playing the gig with a crater in my finger.
Your fingers will develop hard patches as required. Just keep playing.
yes you do if you play frequently. you mostly get them on the pads of your fingers. but don't worry, because all of it is natural.

yes for two reasons
1: some people are to lazy to use a pick (little plastic triangle)
2: from holding down the strings on the neck
not usually when i started playing they didn't

if your fingers hurt when you play guitar, it's probably like your first couple of months playing. your fingers get sore the same way your feet would get sore if youplayed soccer barefoot for the first time. the pain will go away, you just need to build up callauses in your fingertips. dont stop playing though or they'll hurt the same way when you start again its perfectly normal all guitarists have gone through this
Probably at first, until they become more calloused and used to the strings.
Yes. He only uses his first two fingers and his thumb, never a guitar pick
go to the doctors and see what they say first
with your fingers.

There's many A notes on the guitar but if you mean the chord.. it is on the second fret put your fingers over the first 3 strings. The link is a great site to help you learn the chords.
At first yes, when your fingers get sore just put the guitar down. It takes time to get used to it. I recommend thin strings like light gauge and a lower tuning if it hurts to play.
When starting a stringed instrument the hardest thing to learn is how to place your fingers on the strings in a comfortable way, most people tend to press too hard causing cramps in their hands as well as do not have an easy time stretching their fingers. Between electric guitar, electric bass and adding in acoustic guitar, electric guitar is the easiest to develop strength in your hands without become discouraged too quickly. Also consider the length of your fingers, smaller hands have a harder time on bass at first. Regardless of your hand strength overtime you will be able to move across the fret board with ease.
Every normal modern (steel, acoustic, electric) guitar has got 6 strings. Though the first guitars, hundreds of years ago, had 4 strings. Nowadays there are also 7,8,9,10 and 12 string guitars. But the 'normal' guitar has got 6 strings.
