They are indeed Christian. You see they're Armenian, which is the first christian country (even before the Roman Empire). And today they're one of the most devout people on the planet. You will not find an Armenian who isn't Christian (practicing or not).

I know this because I am Armenian myself.

They are clearly not Muslims like the previous guy said (dude check your history, ever heard about the Armenian genocide? Muslim Turks that killed over 1.5 million christian armenians?)

But they aren't a 'Christian rock band'. They're just a normal secular rock band. They practice their faith private.

The members do not talk about their religion because none of them actually have one religion. There are rumours that Serj believes in God and there is some evidence, but none to suggest that he is very religious. I think Daron is religious but he believes that God is every single person and that he is not one person or spirit - Also Daron is open about doing drugs so this is evidence that he isn't very religious as this is counted as self harm. John is definitely not religious because he has very strong feelings about the apocolypse - this means that if there was a God, he wouldn't have let the world get into the state it is. I also don't think Shavo is very religious because there are some songs which disown religion in the Wu-Tang Clan.

Overall - There is no definite answer, the only way you are going to get an answer is by asking the guys yourself. But I reckon what I have written above is a pretty good guess!

three of the members are from libanon , and they are Muslims , and one are from Armenia he's christian , so soad is not a Muslim band , just some of the members,
