Absolutlely not!! James is a songwriter and because he has written so many songs for so many artist, people get confused. He has a good voice and he has made many demos for female artists. Many of his songs have not been released but they have unfortunately, been leaked. He has either written or co-written such hits as: No Air (Jordan Sparks/Chris Brown) Take you Down (Chris Brown) Mannequin (Britney Spears) I Don't Need It (Jamie Foxx) Money Right (Musique SOulchild) Musta Heard (Charlie Wilson) and many others. James might come out as an artist himself one day, but he has already had a lot of success as a writer. Writers remain in the background while the artist get the glory.However, most people would be surprised at how much money writers and producers make on hit songs. Don't feel sorry for James he is doing just fine.
