Disturbed is a heavy metal band. Heavy metal and metal are one in the same. THey mean the same thing. Disturbed is not Nu metal, they don't rap (they only thought 'cause he sang really fast), they don't have turntables,

he is not dead he just dead he just wanted to leave them because he said and i quote " there music is too easy to play and to simple" he announced he was leaving and the band was OK with that so now he is working with a new band in heavy metal.
