My DYNAMIC S50...has the JIS symbol on the label which plases it at 1963 Unless you know better.....but I can't tell if it is laminated or solid woods... sounds and plays fantastic but I can't tell ... had steel strings when I got it...went to nylons...siunded fine...but now has light weught steel string...still sounds awesome.
An old Yamaha Dynamic No.10 should fetch between $25.00 and $200.00 U.S. Dollars. Price would depend on condition and playability. If I were to sell a dead mint No.10 at auction I would expect the bids to fall between $100.00 and $250.00 U.S. Dollars. Any price above $250.00 is icing on the cake and jingle in the seller's pocket. Most average condition No. 10's would fetch about $75.00 to $125.00 U.S. Dollars.
Dave Grohl of Nirvana usually used TAMA drums, and sometimes rarely Yamaha drums.
He pretty much plays Music man Stingrays
I'm pretty sure that it was Rickenbacker(Ro-Pat-In).
