While a member of the Temptations, Paul Williams was married with five children. He also had a sixth child out of wedlock. At the time of his death, he was also involved with a mistress, the cousin of Supremes singer, Florence Ballard, who had been having an affair with for several years. Their relationship caused a strain on his marriage, and Paul was torn between his wife and his mistress.
