After some years, he stopped using Gibson guitars, and he switched to Fender guitars, specifically Fender Telecaster. Now he has a black Fender Telecaster (used in Falling In Love and many live performances), a yellow Fender Telecaster (used in Obviously, Sorry's Not Good Enough, Star Girl and live performances), a white Fender Telecaster (used in One For The Radio), a natural finish Fender Telecaster, a black (with white pickguard) Fender Telecaster (used in Please Please, and many live performances), a red Fender Telecaster (used in The Heart Never Lies, live performances). He also uses many acoustic guitars. His favourite is a Takamine EF341SC, the same that uses Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. He also uses other Takamine guitars, Taylor guitars and sometimes, he uses Tom's Gibson Acoustic Guitar.
