The Alto Saxophone comes in varied sizes but the average length of it is 25.2 in inches while the average width is 4.72 inches. There are different types and brands of Alto saxophone that's why there sizes are also varied. The Alto saxophone is smaller than the Tenor Saxophone but it's larger than the Soprano Saxophone. The Alto saxophone is also one of the commonly used type of saxophone as it's widely used in playing both classic and jazz music.
