You might consider cutting the file in two and upload Part 1 and Part 2. Before altering your file, though, make a couple copies. Move your original file to a back-up drive or assign it an unusual name so it's kept safe. Use a copy to make changes to the file.
Another alternative for a very long song is to re-tape but do a much shorter version or an intro version. Then you could offer your longer track for purchase if you wanted to do so.
