Press and hold the "set" button briefly. When the display changes, use the "set" button to cycle through the choices. The current time zone setting will display in one of the upper corners. Press the "+" button until "EST" displays. If you don't press any buttons after this point, the clock will return to normal mode, using Eastern Standard time.
Oh, dude, setting that Atomic Clock is like trying to decipher hieroglyphics sometimes. First, you gotta press and hold the "SET" button until the time zone starts flashing. Then, you use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the time zone. Finally, you press "SET" again to confirm. Easy peasy, right? Just don't forget to grab a snack in between, setting clocks can be exhausting.
Call the manufacture (Equity Time) at 925-373-7900 and press extension 2. The customer service person should be able to answer your questions. The name "SkyScan" is confusing because there are two companies selling products with the same name. In your case (an mine), this model is made by Equity Time. Best wishes.
Or use these (I found my instruction sheet):
The unit automatically receives the time signal everyday at midnight and makes any required adjustment to the time displayed.
The WAVE OK indicator and the Tower Icon on the display will show if the time signal is successfully received or after manually pressing the SET/WAVE button
You can trigger a Signal Receive operation at any time by pressing the SET/WAVE button, which will activate the Signal Search function of the unit.
To Manually Set the Clockpress "mode" until the alarm time shows. then press "set." every time "set" is pressed, the timezone shifts from west to east. the default timezone seems to be west on my clock, but most instructions I've found online say that default is east. I'm not sure why that is.
1. press "MODE" (it will show the alarm time) 2. press "ADJUST" (this will switch the time zones) 3. when it is on the desired time zone, press "MODE" to return to the clock.
This doesn't answer the question. We can't refer them to another link. Please revise, remove this comment, and resubmit. The instructions for the SkyScan Atomic clock model 87801 can be found here in the form of a .pdf document: skyscanatomicclocks.com/manuals/87800-01.pdfAlso included in this manual is the 87800 model; this manual covers both clocks.
Well, honey, first things first - find the manual. Then, set the time zone, date, and time using the buttons on the clock. Make sure to place the clock in an area with good reception for the atomic signal. And voila, you've got yourself a perfectly synced atomic clock. Now go out there and conquer the world, one precise second at a time!

I have a Baldwin grandfather clock, model CB785. It was manufactured by Baldwin and Wurlitzer and purchased new in 1991. It's still gorgeous and works perfectly. Cost at that time was $838.73. May not be your same model but hope this helps.
