If you remove the outer case of the steering collum the you will see a whole on the bottom going into the ignition switch, you must insert a thin rod a little bigger than a paper clip but sturdy enough not to bend. insert the key in the ignition and turn the key as you are pushing on the rod and the switch should slide rite out. to put the new one in, just reverse these directions. i did mine in about 5 minutes.

Take the covers off from behind the steering wheel upper and lower, Take the knee covers off and the backing plate. If you look at where the key goes and follow that cylinder, on the other end you will see the switch, it's attached by two screws, very easy to remove, and has a small harness you need to detach from the wires it connects to. Disconnect your battery!!!!

with a sharp chisel , there are two break away bolt that hold it in that you have to get loose with a sharp chisel , first make a slot that a flat blade screw driver will fit into and then use the chisel to loosen the bolt once loose turn with the screw driver the rest of the way.

This is easy if you haven't already figured it out. Remove the 4 screws holding the black dash cover 2 top 2 bottom. Remove the ashtray. Pop the black plastic cover around the shifter. It pops up from the back first (next to the parking break). Then remove the black dash center console cover surrounding the tape player. There are 4 more screws holding the tape player in place. Remove them and buy an adapter for the wiring harness and radio antena and you'll be able to install your CD player of choice. Hope this helps someone.

The mounting screws sheer on installation. The only way to remove them is to drill them out.

I just drilled out the security bolts on either side. Then it came off easy. Start with a small drill bit and get larger and larger.
