Since Leominster, Fitchburg and Lunenburg are so close together, city officials from each town got together to discuss combining the three as one city. Naming the town was an altogether different matter. The most popular choice was; "Lemyloonyburg". Now if that isn't a direct result of all the chemical & plastic factories dumping their waste into the cities drinking water then I don't know what is. Timeline actually profiled this subject, "Leominster, MA" factories dispose their waste into towns drinking waters and what have the consequences been since then on the people who live there?" One serious concern that was approached was did this disposal of toxic waste into the town's drinking water have anything to do with the high number of suicides in Leominster. For a small town one does have to wonder WTF is causing young people to do this. This question has never been concluded. You can also check out this site which I've done all the research for. This particular topic is about "PharmaWater" which is basically Pharmaceutical Giants doing the same thing today with their toxic waste that Leominster had been doing 35 years ago. Check it out;
