Turn the ignition key to the accessory position which is normally counterclockwise. Only the radio will be drawing power. If you have a good battery you could listen for a couple of hours without running the battery down. Any longer and the battery may go dead.
Make sure that the headlights are off; these may still remain on when the key is in the accessory position. Headlights will drain the battery very quickly.
It may also be advisable to run the engine for a few minutes every half-hour or so, to recharge the battery.
If you use the radio without the engine running you will eventually discharge the power from the battery. It should be fine for a couple of hours, If not, your battery may need replacing.
at church listen and u might hear it
Turn your key to accessory, but watch out, it will drain your battery
You listen to another radio or switch to the radio.
I would much rather live without a radio. You can get music lots of ways other than the radio, including MTV and VH-1. Definitely without a radio. TV is very good entertainment and often educational. If your PlayStation or Xbox is hooked to your TV monitor, you would lose those as well. You can listen to music on your computer, TV, iPod and such. (I personally don't listen to the radio much anyway.)

I asked that question when my 208 went in for its first service. The answer was that you can't. I have never known a car that has a radio you can't listen to without having the ignition on. Has it not occurred to them that you may want to listen to the radio whilst waiting anywhere?
The Slacker Radio, xBox Music and TuneIn are some of the surface apps to listen to music without WiFi.
