By power wire, I assume that you are talking about an amp or another accessory to that sort. You will have to look up behind your brake pedal toward the corner, there should be a small hole cover with a black 2-way, just push the wire through the 2-way. If you car does not have a hole that you can see, you can drill a small one in that area. -Shocker
If you have climate control check the blower module. The power wire mounted on it's circuit board overheats. The module is located on the firewall under the glove box. Check module and see if the power wire is burnt. You can get an repair kit from the dealer to fix it.
Go to www.installdr.com .
Answer90% chance it's the amplifier if you have the amp in the truck. Go to a GOOD audio shop and have them test the input to see if the radio works, then the speakers to see if they are getting current.I just had the same problem on my 2005 Impala and I found no power going to the amplifier. So I followed the wires and found a splice( located under the rear right hand passenger carpet ) pulled apart. It appeared that the wires were too short . So I added more wire and soldered it back together and everything works good as new.

When he was in that car accident, his mouth was wired up to heal, therefore he's spitting his rhymes "through the wire"
To run a power wire through the firewall on a 2002 Saturn L200, locate an existing grommet or firewall penetration point that is not in use. Ensure it is a safe and secure passage point before passing the wire through. Be sure to seal the opening properly after routing the wire to prevent water or debris from entering the cabin.
Straight to the battery through your firewall straight to the battery to the to the positive post
Any wiring harness that passes through the firewall in a Cirrus will use a grommet. If you are adding a wire, snake the wire with the harness bundle to pass through the firewall.
You need to pass it under the car just under the passenger floor mat you have a hole just the right size for the cable
If you need a hole to run wiring through then follow wiring to an existing hole and work the new wire through. If it is a hole that needs to be repaired, then small holes can be filled with a silicon to waterproof them.
check for rubber grommets in the firewall that already have something protruding through them if not then you'll have to drill a hole.do not run an electrical wire through bare metal hole because it can cause a short.get some grommets to put in the hole first then run your wire
It is recommended to locate an existing grommet or use a rubber firewall plug to pass the amp power wire through the firewall of a 2005 Toyota Hilux. Make sure to avoid any sharp edges that could potentially damage the wire. It's also important to seal the hole properly to prevent water and debris from entering the cabin.
Through the wire harness bulkhead on the drivers side firewall.
Run the wire under the car and come up under a seat (front or rear) or where it's convenient.
There should be a location where you can go through the firewall where other wires are already there. Piggy back on that hole. If not then just drill a hole through the firewall, being very careful not to drill into any wiring or components. Insert a rubber grommet in the hole to protect the wire, and then the wire.
either drill a hloe thru firewall or use a screwdriver to make a hole in a rubber grommet that is already in firewall. then push wire thru . u dont need a big screwdriver and the rubber will close back around the wire
The lower right side of the firewall. There is a wire harness grommet already there it's tight but I got a 0 gauge wire through by greasing the wire first.
