I just did this about 6 months ago. I got all the parts from Oreilly's. Hayden 16 inch electric fan, economy thermal switch for fan control and a Power Steering hose from a 1999 Grand Cherokee 4.7. The only trick to this is you have to use the old ends from the hydralic hoses on the hose for the 1999. The 1999 hose has standard fittings, the 2001 has metric. I just got brass compression fittings to splice the metric ends on to the hose. I cut the electrical connector off the end that connects to the fan solenoid and connected the old solenoid wires together, just left the ground wire going to nothing. Everything has been running fine and no engine light. Total cost to convert it over was about $140.00.
