If it states code wait on the radio then you must turn the key to the first click or position in the ignition then allow the vehicle to sit for 1 hour. After 1 hour you will be able to re-enter your code incorrectly up to 3 times before it will state code wait on the radio again.
Leave the unit on for at least an hour, maybe even an hour and a half. 'Code Wait' should go away and you should then be able to input the correct code; only three tries!
Turn the key to the ON position (do not start the car). Leave it that way for approx. one hour. Then the radio will go back to the CODE sequence. You will then need to enter the correct code to get the radio to work.

If you've lost (or never received) the security code for the radio, you'll have to pull the radio out of the dash to get the number off the back of it. That number, along with the vehicles VIN number, will allow your local Honda dealer or Honda's 800 customer service number to give you the unlock code for the radio that was built-into that vehicle.

To reset an Acura radio after entering the wrong code, first, turn the vehicle's ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Then, wait for about an hour or until the radio displays "Code" again. After that, you can re-enter the correct code. If you continue to experience issues, consult your owner's manual or visit a dealership for assistance.

Entering the wrong radio code typically doesn't prevent a car from starting; however, it can trigger an anti-theft system that immobilizes the vehicle. In some models, the security system may become activated after multiple incorrect attempts, requiring a reset or reprogramming. If your car won’t start, it’s more likely due to a separate issue like a dead battery, faulty starter, or other electrical problems rather than the radio code itself. Always consult your vehicle’s manual or a professional for specific guidance.

To unlock the radio in a 2003 Ford Transit Connect, you'll need the radio's security code, which is typically found in the owner's manual or can be obtained from a Ford dealership by providing your vehicle's VIN. If the radio displays "LOCK" or "CODE," turn the ignition on and press the radio buttons to enter the code. Be cautious, as entering the wrong code multiple times may permanently lock the radio. If you don't have the code, contacting a dealership is the best way to resolve the issue.

If the radio fuse is fine and the speakers still do not work, perhaps the speakers are wired up wrong. Every speaker has an input and output wire. The wires may have been crossed or they are not connected to the radio. If the CD player works, but the radio will not, then the radio itself is bad.
