On both sides of your Panasonic car stereo you will see to small pin holes. they should be on the left and right side of the stereo and if you don't see them insure you have removed the plastic face plate.
use a coat hanger and bend them into a u shape and insert both ends into the holes do the same for the other side. then gently bend them outward to push the secure clips in that's holding the radio and then pull the radio straight out.

Easy job on the 2002. Turn the two center air vents down and look inside above them. You will see a screw in each. Remove the screws and the face plate will come off. The radio is then bolted into the dash and can easily be removes. I hope no car radio theives are reading this!

first start by taking the engine out of the car then remove the back bumper then try removing the door then remove the trunk then the exaust pipe then finally you will be able to see the radio in the car remove that and finally take the car to get repaired!!
Remove ground cable. Using a prying tool, gently pry outward and remove the trim bezel. Unfasten the mounting screws holding the radio. Pull outward and remove the wiring harness and antenna lead from back of radio, remove radio from car. In stall in reverse order.
some older units from the 80's 90's are Fujitsu ten eclipse and Panasonic 2000 are Panasonic jbl and delco , yes delco if your Toyota radio buttons are peeling off you have a delco radio
