The Creation
Haydn
Haydn's operas that survive are very, very rarely performed and then usually as curiosities. The link below gives a listing of his operas.

It is based on the bible - more specifically Genesis.
Joseph Haydn's "Mass in Time of War," also known as the "Paukenmesse" (Hob. XXII:11), typically lasts about 25 to 30 minutes when performed in its entirety. The mass, composed in 1796, features a blend of traditional liturgical elements with dramatic orchestral and choral parts, reflecting the tumultuous context of its creation during the Napoleonic Wars. Performance times can vary slightly depending on the conductor's interpretation and the specific arrangement.
Haydn's Symphony No. 104, also known as the "London Symphony," is a work for a full symphony orchestra, not a chamber orchestra. It features a standard orchestral layout typical of the Classical period, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. The symphony showcases Haydn's orchestration skills and is characterized by its dynamic contrasts and thematic development.
