Lower the glove box. There are two plastic tab stops sticking up past the top of the glove box that hit against rubber stops. Fold these rubber pieces to the side (They are attached only on one side so as to act as a hinge point)
Remove the dampener arm on the right side of the box by sliding the end up and out. The glove box should be hanging down at this point.
Grab the door by both ends. Rock it left to right, just to loosen it from the hooks.
Lift the door toward a vertical position and twist counterclockwise.
It may take a little force. This is one of those things where you do not know what is a little force
