no they just do that to look awesome and it works
no they dont worship the devil and are not "anti-christ" either -.-' its all for the image
If anything they actually oppose the devil. They're opposing mankind since the world has been going far downhill and they resent that, creating that dark image. They emphasize that in their song "The Heretic Anthem" with the lyric "If you're 555 then I'm 666" 555 being the number of man and 666 being the number of the beast (not the Devil). What they mean by that is if man is this bad then Slipknot must be the beast because of how chaotic the world is and engulfed in. Its the same but opposite idea of saying "With how Jim is acting he's making Bob seem like a saint"
No, actually. Contrary to popular belief, Slipknot does NOT worship the devil. The only band member that ever performed any satanic ritual was Chris Fehn when he was a teenager. They just appear to be satanic due to their style of music and controversial songs. They really are a great band. Many, many bands are accused of Satanism due to something known in the media as a "shock factor". Certain bands attempt to grab the attention of fans by doing things, or singing about controversial topics. Famous bands, such as KISS, Slipknot, and Alice Cooper belong to a subgenre of music called Shock Rock, which is just a term for a band that does things out of the norm to differentiate from others.
AnswerNo, Slipknot does not worship the devil.
Pretty much the only rock musicians who actually consider themselves Satanists belong to an obscure sub-genre of heavy metal known as Satanic metal.
Practically any famous rock band you can think of does NOT worship the devil or have anything to do with Satanism. The idea that lots of rock bands are Satanists or devil worshippers is a total myth, created by ignorant people who don't know anything about Rock Music at all.
Even Satanists do not worship the Devil. They do not worship any deity. They do not believe that God or Satan actually exist. And they do not sacrifice animals or children, either. Children and animals are considered the purest form of life, and thus are held sacred.
The above answer is quite correct in saying that some bands are labeled "Satanic" just because people don't understand them. Some bands seem very dark and scary and sinister, and to people who don't know anything about them, they certainly seem like they COULD be Satanic. But they're not. You know, they wear all black, they use demonic images or images from Horror movies in their songs and videos, they glare and snarl and generally look very scary. But it's an act. It has nothing to do with worshipping Satan.
Alice Cooper, in fact, is a Christian!
The only rock musician I know of who has dabbled in Satanism -- not including Satanic black metal -- is Marilyn Manson. He is a minister in Le Veyan Satanism which does not believe in god or satan.
I suggest you do some reading on both rock music and Satanism, and learn what these things are actually about, instead of listening to rumors spread by ignorant people.
You'd imagine neither.

Slipknot hands down.
Slipknot
Unless otherwise stated by the band themselves, it is doubtful.
No. Not all bands that have heavy metal music are devil worshippers. They express they're emotions through music like many singers and song writters do. Some of the slipknot band members lived a hard life. So they express they're emotions in music.
