As strange as it sounds, for me it does.

Whenever I attempt to sing along with one of my Roy Orbison albums I absolutely murder it, but today after burning a few sticks of incense I sang along with one song and realised I actually sounded pretty good, so I sang to a few more and hey, I won't say mine and Roy's voices blended into a harmony or anything, but I actually managed to get the high and low notes very well.

I burn my incense sticks in a non-ventilated room, which is NOT recommended for good reasons but that's what I do so there you go.
