Yes I remember Love Valley. I attended that concert in the summer of 1970 in the foothills of western North Carolina. It was a great time.
I also attended Love Valley on Sat. night......I remember cars were parked all along the roadside for a long way..... both sides of the road...people were just parking and walking and walking...carrying coolers...baggage...ect.. there were three of us..we decided to park our car beside the road as well and we started walking...all of a sudden there was like this vendor truck...some type of food truck..it was going somewhat slow ...but was certainly passing the walking crowd...Bob said let's jump it! so we did...we jumped on the back of the truck...rode the next mile or so...people saw us pass...started yelling and shouting...go for it man!!! so we did....in fact ...we just went right into and through the ticket gate...never paid....once we got in...we just ran for it and disappeard into the crowd...and what a night it turned out to be.....
