It must be possible for the bee to take in exess air when eating, and would have to get rid of it some how, so I think it must release tiny amounts of air (very rarely). but as bees don't have vocal chords it would not make any sound.

Yes. Penguins can burp. Japanese Kan'ji fly out of their mouths when they burp.
