The doberman breed is succeptable to a neurological disease commonly reffered to as Wobblers. I know this because a dog we care for has noticable shaking and trembling in her neck and ears while fully conscious. It is just a flaw of the breed and I do not think that it is chronic or degenerative.
she actually has 13 dogs. 6 of which are pit bulls, 3 are golden retrievers, 2 are doberman pinchers, 1 is a beagle, and the last is a wolf
I think the more wider the jaw the more force it have, and the gsd has a slightly wider jaw.Their are also important factors like built, jaw, shoulder muscles. The gsd has the wider jaw and bigger size so it has the advantage of power so it has stronger biteforce however doberman has stronger bite force according to size.
Yes. They are called coated doberman. This happens when both the parents have the recessive gene for long hair. Many people will swear this cannot happen, and the dog is a mixed breed, but these people have not done the research they should have, to make such an inaccurate statement. Give these beautiful dogs the doberman recognition they deserve. http://www.facebook.com/coateddoberman
While she has not answered that question specifically, she has a cat named Indi (who she loves very much :) ) and two Doberman Pinchers for pets :)
yes
Adults weigh 60 to 95 pounds.
Doberman pinchers were only bred for protection from thieves & muggers.

they bite because they only have that defense and because you're more than twice their size
No dog has the ability to lock their jaw when biting. “Lock jaw” is a medical condition where ANY dogs mouth can lock when opening wide. It is not breed specific.
Doberman pinchers pull most on the lead because they want to protect you. (especially in the night!!)
the doberman pincher is a guard dog police dog tracking dog or all around good dog the where bred for protection purpose's but will need to be ownd by a skilled dog owner.
Dobermans are dogs, so they live in the same habitat as humans do -- which is everywhere on Earth.
No dog has a locking jaw. Their jaw may be powerful but NO breed can lock it's jaw. (Not even a pit bull or other bully breed)
Lock jaw, also known as tetanus, is a condition characterized by severe muscle stiffness and spasms, particularly in the jaw muscles. It is caused by a bacterial infection and can be potentially life-threatening if left untreated. Vaccination is available to prevent tetanus.
