Simple Minds were as good as they have always been live although for a 'support act' Texas were more than making the numbers up. Support bands also included Gun, and The Silencers

i saw them at roundhay park that year and they were supported by an emotional fish and all about eve..... love stone roses and simple minds and would have been great to have seen them together but i don't think it happened
