 PART 1 - If you actually read the medical report, the doctor said that John was doing well, very up and positive.  He reported only having a couple of drinks a week, nothing excessive.

PART 2 - HOWEVER, in order to retain his pilot license following his DUIs, he was NEVER to take a drink.  When his med exam came out stating that Denver took several drinks a week, usually after playing golf, his license was revoked just before his death.

Official reports said no.
