How will we ever know. The Beatles were 4 very different individuals with Lennon the most outspoken, and the only remark's i have ever read was that he could 'or would not' go on stage after Jim Morrison- re doors at the Toronto rock n. roll festival in 69' i wonder why! as for the many other reasons the beatles called it a day how could they compete with the musical mastery of groups like the doors and others like led-zeppelin ect ect: I have found it very rare for any of the top groups to make any remarks about the doors, why' how come the doors made some of the most astonishing music in the 6 years with morrisons involvement and there is hardly any remarks from other artists at the time 'well i havn't come accross much' except on a rare CD of Hendrix 'live' playing in one of new yorks clubs where at one part Morrison got up on stage and on the CD it is a 'noise' and jimi can be quite clearly saying f.... hey get Morrison of the stage please! so back to the question did the beatles like the doors. I personaly don't think so, and it seems very strange the lack of any remarks by other top groups of the period. the doors were unique in my opinion to make the kind of music they did on lps and 'live' without a bass guitarist! i can't think of another band who managed to do this at that time! so that leaves Ringo' george' and paul. i think Ringo couldn't care less, george may have liked some of the doors stuff' spiritual stuff and all that' maybe and that just leaves paul. i think he hated them 'just look at his solo albums' up to he formed wings, and then as far as i know he had no affinaty with the doors, i know he liked Led Zeppelin as he and some of his family were at the 02 in 2008 when zep' reformed for that tribute concert! so to sum up i don't think hardly any of the top groups of that time liked the doors as i havn't seen in print what they thought, so to me the only serious rivals to the beatles in the 60s were the doors 'in my opinion as the music stands the test of time.
Yes. Jim was invited to a recording session at Abbey Road (most likely by George Harrison), and it is said that he was invited to sing the chorus of 'Happiness is a Warm Gun', which obviously has John on lead vocal. Experts say that you can hear Jims voice in the outtakes from this session.
It is unknown if this ever happened, and doubtful. However, Johnny Cash did cover the Beatles' song, "In My Life."
Johnny and Paul McCartney co-wrote (along with Tom T. Hall) NEW MOON OVER Jamaica. Cash and McCartney performed the song together for Cash's "Water From The Wells Of Home" album in 1988.

Yes.
Lennon didn't intend to meet Yoko Ono at first. A friend of Lennon's, John Dunbar, co-owned an art gallery where Ono put on a display of her works. Lennon was in the habit of visiting art galleries at the time, and saw the display a night before its official opening, while Ono was still putting everything in place. The fact that many of her "artworks" were basically sight gags, and carried a positive message, made Lennon want to get better acquainted with the artist.
John Lennon died on December 8, 1980.
