Syd Barrett did acid and it basically destroyed him,
Roger Waters denys drug use saying "If you mean Pink Floyd took drugs - you're wrong. There is no way that I could play music and take any kind of drug at the same time." he used LSD a few times and vowed never to use it again after having a near death expiriance when he stepped into traffic and almost getting hit by an oncoming car.

Richard Wright was a cocaine addict in the seventies, it's one of the reasons he got fired from the band.
Back in the 80's he did a lot of cocaine....until he met his current wife, Polly Samson.
And of course they ALL smoked weed....I mean, c'mon.

It is hard to say with any certainty if any of the members of Pink Floyd did drugs. Unless there has been some documentation, can't answer this.
Just because there are musicians who write and record progressive rock, it is not OK to assume they were all drug users.
