In terms of timelines the lyrics in the song fits Chanel more than Jessica. The very first few lines of the song goes "our song on the radio but it don't sound the same". Based on when the song was written, it's safe to assume the "song on the radio" was a song from Bruno's first album that received lots of radio play (likely to be Just The Way You Are). And at that time Bruno was dating Chanel not Jessica.
The other lyrics in the song fits Chanel more than Jessica as well. Bruno says the girl "walked out of (his) life", which is exactly what Chanel did. Chanel left Bruno Mars when she discovered he cheated on her with Rita Ora. Jessica hasn't ever left Bruno (at least not to public knowledge).

Bruno also says in the song's lyrics "And I never, never got to clean up the mess I made", plus "And I'll be the first to say that I was wrong". All of which fits Chanel's story arc more than Jessica's (who has had a pretty smooth ride with Bruno thus far)
But either ways, Chanel is married with another guy now with a kid (if I'm not wrong), and Bruno has had a very long & stable relationship with Jessica. So I guess the story does have "a happy ending"
