You still can play the Flute, just you have to adjust your fingers to play effectively and keep the fingers on the holes. But if you really want to play the flute, but can't, you can still play the piccolo or a treble flute, they're just flutes but smaller, higher, (and in the Treble flute's case) tuned in a different pitch!

yes, but its probably very difficult all of the fingerings and notes are the same on a bass clarinet as a regular clarinet. i played clarinet 2 and a half year before i switched to bass clarinet. i would recomend at leay 1 year of beginers lessons before playing the bass clarinet

Somewhat. The Bass Clarinet sounds an octave lower than the Bb Clarinet. It is also much bigger and requires much more air, as well as a looser embrochure. There are also a couple extra keys (depending on your model) that allow you to play even lower than low E.
