If you have had your fallopian tubes tied, the only way to reverse the procedure is to see a doctor and have him or her perform another surgery. When you have been sterilized by tubal ligation, it is usually permanent; so if you try to get it reversed, there is a chance it may be successful, but there is no guarantee. The same is true for a man who has had a vasectomy: it can be surgically reversed, but it is not always a successful procedure. You would be better off to discuss this with your doctor, who can advise you in what your options are.
Yes, but it would be extremely rare, unless your tubal ligation has come undone. The chance of the pregnancy being normal are lower, and the chance that it is an ectopic or tubal pregnancy is much higher than normal.
not likely will that happen.......doctor's these days perform better surgeries then they did back then if you had your tubes tied, cut, and burnt then you should'nt have that problem.
Yes this has be known.
I read somewhere that your tubes grow back after 5 years is that true? and if so what are the chances of gettin pregnant again after that? I am proof that they do grow back. On May 21, 2004 I had my son by c-section and also had a tubal done at the same time. I got pregnant but ended up miscarrying. I had to have a bunch of tests done and they found that my left fallopian tube that had 2.2 cm cut out had come "untied" and grown back together. It does happen, I'm proof of it.
if you can read my mind i just want to know if am pregnant
Its been known to happen if over a long period of time. Better to check with your doctor to make sure that there are no complications that come with it just in case you happen to fall pregnant or wish to be pregnant.
Yes, it is a surgical procedure
This would be a rare occurrence, indeed.
I want to know if mass health will cover getting your tubes untied? I have had my tubes tied for 7 years and I`m thinking about having another baby, so after all these years having my tubes tied would I still be able to have a baby if I get them untied?

I have had my tubes tied now for about 5 yr's after my son was born we desided that 4 children were enough for us..lol..i have heard of your tubes coming untied yrs later but am not sure how true this may be..my mother has had her tubes tied for 20 some yrs and she never had any problems with them
Yes they can mine has
see a dr since menstruatrion and tubal ligation are unrelated in the sequencing of occurance Definantly go get checked out...Tubes can come untied or you can have a tubal pregnancy. My mother in law got pregnant 13 years after having her tubes tied...When I got mine done 5 years ago, my doctor suggested having them checked every few years.
They combine in the Fallopian tubes that come off each ovary. Sometimes they stay there and the result is called a tubal pregnancy. This has to be removed.
"fixing" may be referred to as a tubal ligation where your tubes have been altered medically so that an egg cannot travel down them at ovulation at create a pregnancy. There is a similar procedure for men where the sperm cannot travel through and come through in the fluid. Although these procedures are very good, they are not fool proof and can still result in pregnancy at a very low percentage.
