One convinient place is Kolkata Marine House. Vaccination is provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays except public holidays. It is prudent to get your name enrolled at 9:30 in the morning (same day) and arrive again at 12:30 in the noon. Viccination is provided in batches of 10 people. so you have to be lucky to be in a particular batch. There may be multiple batches but the batch of 10 people should be complete.
You need to carry copies of your passport, CDC in case of seamen, Co. letter and other travel documents.
Initial paper work is carried out and after a fee of INR 300 is paid the shots are given. Presently the health officer giving the shots appears to be very experienced as it is absolutely painless.
The whole process will take about one and half hour.

basically yellow fever card is required for the countries of Africa and south america..due to high risk of yellow fever in such countries you cannot get the visa without yellow fever card\certificate..
getting yellow fever card is not so easy..in order to get the yellow fever card you have to admit yoursel in hospital for atleast 4 days..after the check ups ,doctors will give approval for yellow fever card..
fees is not much..its hardly around 500 irs
if u dont wanna admit in hospital..den der is a str8 way..ask doctor some bribe of around 1000-1500 and he will get you this card..
