Why was Naruto canceled on Cartoon Network?

It will no longer be on Cartoon Network.. The new episodes will now be on Disney XD starting next month.. The creators of the show posted the news on their website.. here is the link http://naruto.viz.com/news/index.php?id=87

i think he means is the show cancelled not in America but in Japan which means everywhere and no its not

Actually the series where Naruto is 12 was canceled because some kid buried himself in a sandbox because he thought that he could be lke Gaara.

:naruto is not over! the people who do the drawings for naruto shippuden(a new part of naruto when they are all teenagers) have to ree do the lip synce for it so when the people talk in English they look like they're speaking English not Japanese:

I've heard rumors that they canceled their license because of the tragic incident about a group of grade 5 students who imitated Gaara's "sand burial" in the sandbox. One of their friend was killed because of being buried.

Sadly... i think it was. No Naruto has been shown since mid-winter, and new shows like Chaotic and Yu-gu-oh 5-D have sprung up. I am questioning that too... Naruto was one of cartoon network's #1 shows, and MANY people wacthed cartoon network because of it's anime. I am really irratated that cartoon network would cancel a #1 show too. I never really even wacth cartoon network anymore.....

It might be cancelled in places but not at the moment, it is releasing more episodes and manga every day.

as far as i know it hasent been taken off air but if u still want to watch it go online their still making new manga and naruto shuppinden episodes

I think because Shippuden came along, and it's a lot more violent and dramatic. :3

Its probably a super long haitus that will probably go on for another month or 2 but I doubt that it was cancelled
